By car

Exit the A9 (Munich/Nuremberg) at Autobahnkreuz Neufahrn taking the A92 towards Munich airport (Flughafen).
On the A92, as you near the airport terminal, get into the left lane ready to take the exit Erding-Schwaig.
After about 3 km take the Schwaig exit. Continue straight ahead to the centre of Schwaig.
From the market square turn right following the signs to KraussMaffei Automation.

If you're coming from Deggendorf on the A92, take the Erding exit, continue for about 2 km then turn right towards the airport.
Follow the signs to Schwaig. From the town square turn right following the signs to KraussMaffei Automation.

By train

At Munich main station (Hauptbahnhof) take the S1 suburban train (S-Bahn) to Munich airport.
Get out at Terminal 1 and catch regional bus 512. The bus will take you to Schwaig (near Erding). Get out in the centre of Schwaig village (bus-stop Schwaig Mitte) and walk 200 m following the signs to KraussMaffei Automation.

By plane

At the airport terminal 1 catch regional bus 512. The bus will take you to Schwaig (near Erding). Get out in the centre of Schwaig village (bus-stop Schwaig Mitte) and walk 200 m following the signs to KraussMaffei Automation. Or take a taxi from the airport to KraussMaffei Automation (5 minutes).

By car

On the A24 (Hamburg/Berlin) take the Hagenow/Schwerin exit. Turn right onto to the B321 towards Schwerin. After about 15 km, at Schweriner Brauerei, turn right into Werkstrasse. After about 500 m turn right into Rudolf-Diesel-Strasse. KraussMaffei Automation is about 300 m along on the left.

By train

From Schwerin main station (Hauptbahnhof) walk to Platz der Freiheit (6 minutes). Alternatively catch bus 11 going to Schwerin Bleicherufer and get off at Platz der Freiheit. Change to tram 4 going towards Schwerin Neu Pampow. Get out at Schwerin Süd (10 minutes). Continue about 300 m along the road and then turn right into August-Horch-Strasse.

By plane

If you're travelling by plane, it's easiest to fly to Hamburg. From the airport take the bus to Hauptbahnhof/Kirchenallee (Jasper) and walk about 6 minutes to Hamburg main station (Hauptbahnhof). Catch a train to Schwerin (about 25 minutes). From Schwerin main station walk to Platz der Freiheit (6 minutes). Alternatively catch bus 11 going to Schwerin Bleicherufer and get off at Platz der Freiheit. Change to tram 4 going towards Schwerin Neu Pampow. Get out at Schwerin Süd (10 minutes). Continue about 300 m along the road and then turn right into August-Horch-Strasse.

By car

From the Autobahnring A99 take the München-Ludwigsfeld exit. Turn right towards Munich onto Dachauer Strasse. After crossing the bridge over Allach freight station, turn right immediately into Ludwigsfelder Strasse. After about two kilometres turn left and continue until you come to the plant gate. Announce yourself on the intercom and, when the barrier opens, drive into Krauss-Maffei-Strasse to the visitor parking.

By train

From Munich main station (Hauptbahnhof) take the S-Bahn S2 going to Dachau/Petershausen. Get off at Allach (the trip takes about 15 minutes). Follow the signs to KraussMaffei (5 minutes).

By plane

From Munich airport take the suburban train (S-Bahn) S1 or S8 to the main station (Hauptbahnhof). Change to the S2 going to Dachau/Petershausen. Get off at Allach (the trip takes about 15 minutes). Follow the signs to KraussMaffei (5 minutes walk). Alternatively, take a taxi from the airport to KraussMaffei (20 minutes).
