KraussMaffei material groups
KraussMaffei's purchasing volume spread over five major groups of materials: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, systems, general and services. The five main groups are further divided into a number of sub-groups.
Below is an outline of the main material groups and subgroups, together with approximate figures for annual purchasing volume for each group.
Preferred Supplier programme
KraussMaffei's mission is to supply customers in the long-term with high calibre products. To do this we need suppliers with the economic strength and technical capacity to meet our criteria. They must also be prepared to tread the path of continuous improvement with us.
We designate a limited number of suppliers as "Preferred Suppliers". These are suppliers who are prepared to face the challenge of global competition and global market requirements.
