New products, systems and processes are usually the result of sharing knowledge and co-operating with other experts and knowledgeable parties. KraussMaffei has built up a competency network during recent years so that innovative ideas can be translated more quickly into products, system solutions and processes.

We collaborate with all major university departments in Germany that are involved with plastics processing. We also participate in projects initiated by Germany's Federal Research Department. In addition, we nurture contacts with foreign universities and take part in joint projects.
